Service Brown out for Christmas and New Year
To ensure maximum network and system stability for our customers, CityLink will observe a Service Brown out during the Christmas and New Year break. Brown out period will commence from Monday 15th December 2014 to Friday 2nd January 2015 inclusive. Which means that during this period, CityLink will not commission any new, additional or relocated services, or process any changes in service.
Order Processing and Lead Times
For CityLink service orders received from Monday 1st December 2014, an additional two weeks (approximately) may be added to the standard lead-times due to the holiday period. Any order requiring civil works received after Friday 31st October 2014 may have a longer lead-time due to council restrictions as no civil works are allowed in central business districts from 1st December 2014 to 2nd January 2014.
As of Monday 5th January 2015 the standard lead-times will apply.
Network Outage Resolution
The CityLink Customer Fault Team will provide Network Support during the Brown out period and the usual fault reporting process will be observed. For fault reporting please call 0800 424 895.
CityLink Office Hours
CityLink office hours during the Christmas and New Year period 2014-15 are as follows:
- Monday 15th December – Tuesday 23rd December 2014 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday 24th December 2014 8:30am – 12:00pm
- Thursday 25th December – Friday 2nd January 2015 Office Closed
The office will re-commence normal trading hours on Monday 5th January 2015
